Frances ‘Bon’ Robinson

Frances “Bon” Robinson, 62, of Commerce passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, in Commerce.

Frances Yvonne Robinson was born Nov. 11, 1953, to Minnie Lee Bonham and Clyde Earold Robinson. She worked at Thirteen Hundred Washington for Hair in Commerce for 41-plus years. She was of the United Methodist faith and attended regularly at Caney United Methodist Church, where she was the song leader. “Bon” had a very special bond with every one of her animals.

Frances is survived by her nephew, Charles Earold Webster and wife Christi; her three great-nephews, Charles Allen “Chase” Webster, Chance Hayden Webster and  Dustin Webster; her great-niece, Alexis Sanders; her aunt Marie Vaughn; her friend, “my John” Conrad; her two uncles, Marvin and Harold Robinson; numerous cousins; and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Clyde Robinson; her nephew, Christopher Allen Webster; her niece, Bonnie Sue Webster; her two brothers, George Elmer Robinson and Clyde Earold Robinson Jr.; and her sister, Donna Gail Webster.

Her funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1709 State Highway 24, Commerce, Texas,  with Pastor Pam Zolczer officiating. Interment will follow at Caney Cemetery, 5164 CR 3107, Campbell, Texas.

Visitation is today, Jan. 21, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home, 1209 Live Oak Street, in Commerce.

Pallbearers will be Mark Mauldin, Robert Spillers, Ted Oats, Danny O’Neal, Michael Bates, and Bill Jordan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bret Webster, Harold Robinson, Marvin Robinson, Tom Spradling, Richard Hill, David Huffman, and Eddy Mize.
