HERMITAGE — Nola Jean Mosier Gosnell, 91, of 1059 Greenfield Road, Hermitage, Lackawannock Township, passed away at the residence on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at 3:50 p.m. after a brief illness.
Born in Mosiertown on Oct. 20, 1924, she was a daughter of Guy Mosier and Bertha Frontz Mosier. She married Robert Lee Gosnell on Oct. 3, 1942. He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1994.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Charleston United Methodist Church, where she was active.
She is survived by a son, Barry R. Gosnell in Hermitage; and her first cousin, Rita Mae Knap Ware in Pompano Beach, Fla. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her sister who was her best friend, Vera Joan Mosier Weikal Abbot.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
