Joseph William Ross, Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was the husband of the late Nancy Lou Wolfe Ross, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Born 1931 in Atlantic City, NJ, Joe was the son of the late William Alfred Ross and the late Caroline Coleman Ross.
Joe proudly served our country during the Korean War as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy. Joe was a creative individual which was showcased in his poetry, counted cross stitch, bass guitar playing and love of singing in church choir or anytime a song would come to mind. He was nothing short of a pool shark and an avid golfer who achieved a hole in one. Joe’s wonderful sense of humor, sprinkled with a bit of teasing, always brought about a smile and brightened your day.
