Kay was a stay at home mom while she raised her children. Later in life she worked as a pharmacy technician at the pharmacy in Marengo.
Kay loved playing cards, especially Euchre. She belonged to numerous card clubs over the years. She was also active in Seniors on Center and helped collect Toys for Tots every Christmas season.
Kay enjoyed being outdoors working in her beautiful flower gardens or taking long walks with her dogs, Cody and Jessie.
Family time was always very important to Kay. She especially loved traveling and the numerous unforgettable family vacations they took together. She was a bit of a firecracker and could not sit still. She always had to have something to do.
