VAN WERT, Ohio — Richard “Dick” Owen Prior was born in Van Wert,
Ohio, on July 30, 1922. His parents were Darrel Elza Prior and Chloe
Pearl (Webb) Prior. Richard departed this life on Feb. 21, 2021, at his
home in Palm Springs, California, at the age of 98.
