WARREN – Richard Arthur Schley, age 71, passed into his Savior’s arms on Aug. 24, 2021.
Dick was born on Dec. 27, 1949, to Arthur and Erma Schley. He was the fourth of nine siblings. He grew up in Montville Township and made his home in Warren for the past 50 years.
Dick is preceded in death by his Mom and Dad; and five siblings Joanie, Jimmy, Barb, Donald and Kenneth.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Chris Schley; son, Jeremy Schley; his remaining siblings, Gayle, Loretta and Phyllis; and many loving nephews and nieces.
Dick was one of a kind. He was loving and kind and tender. He loved Jesus and his main concern was living his life for Him. Dick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Warren.
Dick spent his life working at Packard Electric as an instructor in the apprentice program and retired from there after 34 years. He then went on to work for Kundel Industries for 15 years until his recent passing.
Dick holds several patents and was an extremely gifted craftsman.
He was a wonderful husband and Dad, an extremely loving son to his parents and the best brother his remaining three sisters could ever have asked for. He will be missed beyond measure. We love you dear brother. We’ll see you at the gate…
Graveside services will be held Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at 12:30 p.m., at Montville Cemetery. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 12686 Bass Lake Road, Munson Township.
