Patricia Kay Thompson

Patricia Kay Thompson 72 of Delaware, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Arbors of Delaware.

Born February 5, 1947 in  Columbus, Ohio the daughter of the late  Robert  & June  Ester  Oster. Patricia would go on to graduate from High School and take some college. She worked for Farmers Insurance for over 35 years as a branch manager, before she retired. She was a member of Christ the King Worship Center in Delaware, Ohio.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Robert “Rob” Thompson; sister June (Phil) Karshner; nephew Toby Karshner; brother in –law Douglas Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Thompson in  2015, and sister Myra Stewart.

Patricia had a very large caring, and giving heart, she adopted / rescued hundreds of animals in her years alive, at one point having as many as 50 on acres in Delaware. She also enjoyed horses and was a member of The Olentangy Western Riding Club, she owned and rescued many horses. She also trained, and boarded horses as well. Her proudest achievement was her family, most importantly her son Rob. She will be missed as the giving, loving, dedicated and respected woman that she was .

Memorial Services for Patricia will be held at a later date.
