Linda F. Heminger, 74, of Galion passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born April 25, 1946 in Galion and was the daughter of the late Dale and J. Elaine (Harsh) Luscaleet. She married Clarence “Butch” Heminger on July 7, 1978 and he survives.
Linda was the centerpiece of her family, was very patriotic and enjoyed reading, Hallmark movies and NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Kyle Bush being her favorite drivers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Cher Lawrence, of Willard, Dale (Kathleen) Donnett of Biloxi, Miss., Clarence (Donna) Heminger, Jr. of Bellville and Brian (Vickie) Heminger of Galion; 15 grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Larry) Finley of Leesburg; brother, Jim Luscaleet of Richwood; sister-in-law, Anita Luscaleet of Galion and her beloved Yorkie, Half-Pint.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Connie Donnett; brother, Richard “Dick” Luscaleet; grandson, Nicholas Frankart and step-son, Bruce Heminger.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9 with Rev. Loyd Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
