MANSFIELD: Kristin Stewart, age 39, of Mansfield passed away Tuesday evening, September 14, 2021 in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital following a sudden illness.

She was born August 23, 1982 in Elyria and graduated from Madison High School in 2001.

She married Rick Stewart on May 18, 2013.  Kristin worked as an STNA at Oak Grove for many years, but left to stay home and raise her girls.  Hard working, Kristin had it all together.  Keeping the house tidy, baking chocolate chip cookies and running the girls to games and practice, she was the ultimate soccer mom.

Kristin’s favorite color was purple.   Wearing purple symbolizes loyalty, trust and devotion.  It’s no wonder Kristin loved purple as these attributes align with her personality.  Described as “the rock” of her family her world was her family.

She is survived by her husband Rick Stewart of Mansfield; their daughters and the center of Kristin’s world Keeli and Kacie Stewart; her parents Barbara and Wayne Riffe of Mansfield; five sisters Shelly Stone, Sharon Fitzpatrick, Jenny Rodriguez, Jessica Riffe and Jackie Riffe; mother-in-law Dee Pierce of Mansfield father in law Doug Stewart and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Kristin was preceded in death by her father-in-law David Pierce.

Friends may call Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 1-4 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 4 pm.  Family friend, Rev. David Aune will officiate.

Contributions in Kristin’s memory may be made to Rick Stewart to start a fund for Keeli and Kacie’s education.
