Glenn was commissioned to the US Naval Academy, where he completed his studies and went on to flight school, eventually fulfilling his dream of flying F/A-18 Hornets. Glenn was an avid golfer, huge fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and an amazing writer of poetry. Glenn meant a great deal to many, mentoring flight students in the military, leading many pilots to safe carrier landings as an LSO officer, and even mentoring fellow Tuck students during his 2 years of schooling there. In the investment word, he was revered as a brilliant mind by several of his peers. As a father, Glenn coached little league for both of his sons for several years and made it to every football game or track meet that he could.
