Glenn D. Brandenburg, born December 31, 1951 to James Anderson and Wanda Patricia Brandenburg. He shared his early life with brothers, Garry and Greg; his sisters, Brenda, Connie and Annette. Glenn married his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Muddiman in June of 1972. He then became the brother of Sherrie, Roseanne, Bradley, Richard, Tina and Steven Muddiman. He was loved by his “Mom” Shirley and his father-in-law, Bradley Muddiman. He is survived by two children and their spouses that he loved with all his heart; Marla & Joe Vanover and Eric & Karen Brandenburg. Papaw is also survived by his grandchildren, Austin & Elizabeth Vanover and Anderson & Clara Brandenburg, whom were the center of his universe. Glenn will be missed by many others so dear to him in his life including nieces and nephews and the many young people that called him “Uncle Glenn”. He will also be missed by many friends and those he considered family, especially his “Brother” Lloyd Hibbard, his wife Kathy and their family. In April of 1992, Glenn founded a small business, Custom Built Crates from the small garage at his home. Today Custom Built Crates is the largest crating and shipping company in the Midwest. Glenn will be remembered for his generosity, his spirit for life, big bear hugs and for the love he openly gave to friends and family. I will be forever grateful that he chose me to share his life. – Bobbie. Glenn passed away on August 20, 2016 at the age of 64. Visitation was held on Thursday, Aug. 25th from 4 to 8 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati OH 45251. Second visitation took place on Aug. 26th from 9 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 10 AM at the church. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
