Frances Kay Ferguson Riddle

Frances Kay Ferguson Riddle, 78 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Promedica in Bucyrus.  Frances was born January 7, 1943, in Shelby OH to the late Eldon L. and Kathryn (Fidler) Ferguson.  She was preceded in death also by her husband Leonard Riddle in 2013.

Frances is survived by siblings Constance A. (James) Baird and Charles A. (Mary) Ferguson; niece Mary Ann (Everett) Smathers; grand nephew Mykal  Smathers; and close friend Bonnie McGuire.

Frances graduated from Buckeye Central High School in 1961.  She served as a Lutheran Deaconess from 1963-1971 and was Parish Deaconess at Faith Lutheran, Annandale, VA from 1970-1971.  Frances served as church secretary in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  She was employed with Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services in Milwaukee, WI from 1992 until 2000 working with and managing an apartment and group home for developmentally challenged adults.

Frances had many interests that included Bible Studies and her church, involvement in the LWML, District Zone, and International, corresponding with friends via the Internet and mail; as well as enjoying time with her niece and her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Corneius officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
