Dave “Dink” Smith, 65, of Galion passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021.
He was born May 22, 1955 in Galion and was the son of James R. and Harriett (Bean) Smith.
Dave worked as a machinist at the former Perfection Cobey in Galion and last worked as a mechanic at Ken Bodkins Speed Shop.
He is survived by sons Daniel R. Smith and Shayne L. (Tricia) Brady all of Galion; seven grandchildren Devon R. Smith, Paige & Jared Miller, Sean, Chelsey & Cody Brady and Anissa Young; two great-grandchildren Wyatt Perry and Dominic Beers; two brothers, Mike (Sherri) Smith of Lexington and Victor Smith of Marion; sister Victoria Smith of Marion and his ex-wife Robin McKee Roberts of Mansfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Smith.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
