Danica Vukovic Howard

Danica “Donna” Vukovic Howard born April 14, 1935, passed away peacefully in Texas on Feb. 10, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willam Howard.

Donna was an avid farmer and gardener for many years at their farm on Jug Road. She loved her animals, preferably her goats like they were her own children and spent many hours in her barn and out in the fields with them.

Donna had a green thumb and could grow any fruit and vegetable you desired. In her down time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren fishing, playing board games and cooking.

Donna also spent time with her Amish neighbors, transporting them to and from appointments.

She is going to be greatly missed.

Donna is survived by her sons, George (Sandy) Bijelic, Daniel (Kay) Bijelic; daughter, Helen Bijelic; grandchildren, Katrina (Jason) Shamblin, Danielle Bijelic, Mikal (Megan) Bijelic; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Kerrine, Julianna and Flora.

A celebration of life will occur this spring at Kiwanis Lake Community Center and a private burial will take place at the Welton Cemetery in Burton.
