Dale Scott Miller, age 55, went to his heavenly home on Feb. 2, 2021.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1965, the beloved son of Martin E. and Ester Sue (nee Gingerich) Miller.
In 2002, Dale fell from a roof while painting a house and became a quadriplegic for the last 18 years.
Dale was a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ for 30-plus years. His passion was in sharing his faith to many people.
He loved his family, reading, running and model trains.
Dale resided in Bloomington, Ill. He grew up in Burton. He graduated from Geauga Christian School and also from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo.
Dale married Tammy L. Clauson on Aug. 3, 1985.
Dale is survived by his wife, Tammy, of 35 years; children, Kristin (Kurtis) Safer, and Kyle and Kody Miller; parents, Martin and Esther Miller; siblings, Martin Lee (Ruth) Miller and Laura Sue Miles; and nephews, William (Britney) Miles and Dakota Miles.
His grandparents, Elia and Ida Miller, and Pete J. Gingerich and Emma Patterson, are deceased.
He will be sadly missed by his family and the Clauson family, and many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held for Dale on Feb. 13, 2021, at Victory Christian Church in Bloomington, Ill.
