Pansy Irene Bolen Biggs

Mrs. Pansy Irene Bolen Biggs, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A native of Stokes County, Pansy was born on May 22, 1936 the daughter of the late Henry Clay Bolen and Sarah Bullins Bolen. She was a graduate of Summerfield School and attended Summerfield Baptist Temple as long as her health allowed. She was retired from Battleground Printing where she held several positions and had previously worked at Guilford Mills and Sears. Above all, her treasure on earth was her family, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Claude Everett Biggs of the home; 3 sons Doug Biggs and his wife, Cyndie of Greensboro, Ricky Biggs and his wife, Sue, of Summerfield, and Randy Everett Biggs of Greensboro; 7 grandchildren Jeremy Biggs, Tyler Biggs, Ali Gindlesperger, Blaine Biggs, Brennan Biggs, Blake Biggs, and Brayden Jiminez; and 11 great grandchildren Rylee, Judah, Abel, Selah, Boone, Tanner, Addison, Nova, Jack, Vada, and Vito; and her canine companion, Nicky.
Pansy was preceded in death by her siblings Mildred Pegg, Thelma Williams, Herman Bolen, Artis Bolen, Nellie Biggs, Ola Parrish, and Violet Hedrick.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 5, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Forbis & Dick – Stokesdale. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Brennon Gindlesperger and Pastor Matt Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church, 4635 Hicone Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
