Kathleen Victoria Beck Barnhardt

MOCKSVILLE – Mrs. Kathleen Victoria Beck Barnhardt, 98, of Pinebrook School Road, died Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.
She was born on May 2, 1922, in Davie County, to the late Jesse Boon and Lula Beatrice Grubb Beck.
Mrs. Barnhardt was raised in the Jerusalem community and graduated from Cooleemee High School. She was a homemaker and helped her husband, James, with the dairy farm for 26 years. Mrs. Barnhardt was a member of Smith Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Barnhardt, on December 28, 1999; five sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include her son, Larry Barnhardt of Mocksville; a grandson, Nicholas Barnhardt (Tori); two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Barnhardt and Emmy Barnhardt; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at Smith Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Darren Crotts officiating. Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Barnhardt at Eaton Funeral Home after 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Smith Grove United Methodist Church, 3492 US-158, Mocksville, NC 27028, or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the care and support shown to Mrs. Barnhardt.
