Jexie Reynolds Montgomery

Jexie Reynolds Montgomery, 90, of Greensboro passed away Monday March 29th, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday April 2nd, 2021 at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Chapel with Pastor Barry Nealy officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park at 3:00 pm
Jexie Jane (sweet thing) was born December 7th, 1930 to Elijah Walker Needham and Rose Ellen Kern Needham in Ether, NC. She had 8 brothers and 2 sisters. If there was anything that Jexie knew, it was hard work. She poured her life into raising her four children. Jexie was beautiful, smart, and witty as could be. Always quick to come back with a smart little joke. Jexie was so loving and kindhearted. She was also quite the dancer. She loved to spend her Saturday nights dancing to country music. Most of all, Jexie loved her family with all her heart.
Jexie is preceeded in death by her first husband Jack Reynolds, her son Joey Reynolds, granddaughter Sarah Coble, her parents, 7 brothers, and two sisters. Losing Joey and Sarah was the greatest heartbreak of her life. She is survived by her three children Jerry Reynolds (Joann), Cynthia Reynolds (Larry Higgins), Kameron Biggs, Grandchildren Donnie Reynolds, Chris Ripley, Blaine Biggs, Brennan Biggs, Blake Biggs, Bradyn Biggs Great-grandchildren Dolan Reynolds, Taylor Graves, Brooke Ripley, William Ripley, Addison Gurganus, Jackson Biggs, Nova Brouillard, Vada Jimenez, Vito Jimenez, Everette Gurganus, Three Great great grandchildren. Her husband Ken Montgomery and stepchildren Keith Montgomery, Bridget McClain, and Vicki Briggs.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel.
