Texas manhunt ends at Lebanon motel

A person of interest in a Texas murder investigation killed himself Friday night after shooting at Lebanon officers who were looking for him at a local hotel.
The Amarillo, Texas, Police Department contact the Lebanon Police Department at about 9:40 p.m. Friday with information that Christopher Nicholas, 29, of Amarillo, who was wanted for questioning in connection with a murder investigation, was thought to be at the Days Inn on Elm Street in Lebanon, according to the LPD.
