Thomas Raymond Bjorkman October 1, 1935 – November 13, 2021; son of Raymond W. Bjorkman and Eleanor Anderson Bjorkman and was born in Duluth, Minnesota. He attended Duluth Schools through high school graduation and University of Minnesota undergraduate and graduate schools. His military service started 13 November 1959 when he was sent to Korea and ended with the Army Reserves 2 September 1964. His occupation as a mining engineer was with Mining Safety and Health Administration of the Department of Labor for 25 years. Tom enjoyed travel having been in over 50 counties and scuba diving. He lived in Duluth, Minnesota; Manoppello, Italy; Providenciales, Turks & Caicos and Wilmington, NC. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Becker Bjorkman, and sons, Lincoln (Sarah), Jal, and Toby (Eliza); three grandchildren, Hannah, James, and Thomas Jeffery, and his brother David (Karen). A graveside service in Minnesota will be held at a later date.
