Roberta “Birdie” Parker passed away March 17, 2021 at the age of 54 at her home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Bird was born along with her twin brother, Robert “Fritz” Ellestad, on March 22, 1966 to Royce and Audrey Ellestad. Birdie graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1984 and moved to Fairbanks, AK soon after. She spent the next years living in Anchorage and New Mexico. She moved back to Fairbanks, where she met and married her soulmate Bryan Parker in 2002.They called Fairbanks home until 2017 when they moved to Stillwater, OK. Bird was always bubbly with a smile on her face; she loved the Minnesota Vikings, playing games, camping, telling stories and spending time with friends and family. She always put other people before herself and was one of the most caring and generous women to walk the earth. Birdie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Fritzie, her niece Tammy Lundgren and nephew Jamie Olson. She will be so very missed by her husband Bryan, children Kayla and Keane Pokupec and granddaughters Faith and Tilly. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers Linda (Daryl) Olson, Larry Olson, Mike (Vicki) Falk, Marie Amesbury, Scott (Amy) Falk, Steve (Deb) Falk, Jeff (Debbie) Falk, Ann (Tim) Gow and Andrew (Joyce) Ellestad, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Bird’s Life will be held in Two Harbors in May. More information will be given once plans are complete.
