Kayla Kleinhuizen

Kayla (Hillers) Kleinhuizen, age 32, passed away peacefully at her home in Lakeville, Minnesota, on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She fought a courageous battle with breast cancer for 20 months. She leaves behind her husband, Ryan, and two little girls, Bria and Brenna.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar. A recording of the service will be available online after the service. Interment will be at Clover Leaf Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Breast Cancer Society, Angel Hair Salon, and Accent Hospice Care are preferred. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org. Kayla was born in Willmar, Minnesota, on August 3, 1988. She is the daughter of Daryl and Kay Hillers. She was baptized and made profession of faith at Bunde Christian Reformed Church. She graduated from Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg in 2006. She then went to further her education at Bethel University where she graduated with her B.S. in Nursing in 2010. Kayla had a heart for serving others and that was evident in her work over the years as a RN. Kayla was united in marriage to Ryan Kleinhuizen on June 1, 2012. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Twin Cities area. During their eight years of marriage, they attended River Valley Church in Apple Valley and enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family and friends. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Bria (2) and Brenna (1). Above all, Kayla lived out her faith daily as a devoted wife, caring mother, and faithful daughter, sister, and friend. Kayla is survived by her husband: Ryan; daughters: Bria and Brenna; her parents: Daryl and Kay Hillers of Kerkhoven; three sisters: Kimberly (and Jordon) Daugherty of Prinsburg, Dana (and Travis) Vander Woude of Prinsburg, and Dori Hillers of Willmar; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Paul and Pam Kleinhuizen of Blomkest; brother-in-law: Randy (and Amy) Kleinhuizen of Farmington; sister-in-law: Robyn (and Drew) Beckman of Apple Valley; her nieces and nephews: Beckham, Londyn, and Easton Daugherty, Leila Vander Woude, Ethan, Evan, and Avery Beckman, and Mason and Ella Kleinhuizen; and grandparents: Darlene Bolt of Prinsburg, Stan and Karen Hillers of Raymond, and Marilyn Kleinhuizen of Willmar, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents; Arvid Bolt, Wayne Kleinhuizen, and Gerald and Barbara Latterell.
