Julia Kay Dobmeier, age 60, of Lake Lillian, MN, passed away on October 5th, 2020 from complications associated with pancreatitis. Julia Kay Dobmeier was born in Olivia, MN on December 19th, 1959 to Norman and Margaret Jungclaus. She grew up on the family farm north of Bird Island, MN and graduated from Bird Island – Lake Lillian High School. She was married to Steven Dobmeier on May 23rd, 1981. She worked where she was needed, she was always helping someone. She has made an impact on countless lives by her passion for living life to the fullest and always staying true to herself. She had a fiery personality, and a good sense of humor. She valued honesty and loyalty. She was an avid reader, talented artist and a great cook. She was happy with her life and really enjoyed being “Nana” to her 4 grandkids. Julia is survived by her husband, Steve Dobmeier; three children, Joe (Jackleen) Dobmeier, Jessica (Mike) Harper, and Rob (Loni) Dobmeier; grandchildren, Soren Dobmeier, Mena, Eben, and Axel Harper; mother, Margaret Jungclaus; siblings, Celia (Doug) Gilbertson, Susan (Kevin) Akulin, Nanci (Dan) Newbauer, Nolan (Susan) Jungclaus, and Scott (Rebecca) Jungclaus and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Jungclaus; brother, Craig Jungclaus and nephew, Duane Gilbertson.
