After retirement he enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and reading. One of his proudest moments came at age 80 when he walked his granddaughter Cammie down the aisle for her marriage. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Merle Jean, children Juiie (Bob) Bjorquez, Amy, Gray, Heidi (Dan) Beck, and four grandchildren, he is also survived by four brothers ,two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Being a no muss,no fuss kind of guy ,he requested no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A special thanks goes out to the terrific staff at Hospice of the East Bay.
