WAGONER, Carl Sep 17, 1942 – Nov 8, 2021

Carl Martin Wagoner, 79, was born on the Lewis Farm in Howard County, Indiana.
He passed away in Orlando, Florida, at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2021, in the comfort of his bed with his children by his side.
Martin was born on Sept. 17, 1942, to Donald E. Wagoner and Esther Pauline (Hendrix) Wagoner.
He graduated from Carroll High School class of 1960.
On March 19, 1965, Martin married Vicki (Hosier) Wagoner.
For many years, Martin worked as the owner operator of Wright Beauty College (Kokomo, Marion, Wabash), Ravenscroft Beauty College (Fort Wayne) and Rudae’s Beauty College (Lafayette). He especially enjoyed spending time on his family farm with friends and loved ones.
Martin is survived by his children, Kurt (Christine) Wagoner, Kristi (Brian) Hogan, along with adopted daughter, Missie (Rusty) Ritchie. Family also surviving Martin include grandchildren, Austin (Baylee), Riley, Chandler, Caleb Hogan, Reagan and Carlie Ritchie; and great-grandchild, Hallie Hogan.
All are welcome to join in the celebration of Martin’s life from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at South Creek Church of God, 5937 S. Park Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. Come spend some time together catching up with family and friends while sharing stories of Martin’s impact on their lives. To conclude the evening, a brief celebration service will be held at 7:15 p.m.
The family thanks you for your love and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martin’s memory to Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis, Indiana.

  1. I am sorry for your loss. What a wonderful person he was. He was funny and kind. He did my hair for many years until I moved. He told me just because you moved doesn’t mean you can’t come and visit. What a great human being. There should be more people like Martin in this world.
