ROMBOLD VITELLO, Lynn Apr 12, 1951 – Aug 1, 2019

Lynn Alice Vitello , 68 of Logansport, passed away peacefully at 2:29 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019, in the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Born April 12, 1951, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Carl and Recka Rombold (Hall) Rombold.
On October 18, 1995, in Logansport, she was married to Frank W. Vitello, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2007.
Lynn worked as a waitress and tended bar for many years, which included the years Frank managed the VFW with Lynn at his side making sure the kitchen and the bar ran smoothly. For ten years, Lynn worked as a correctional officer at the Miami Correctional Facility.
Shx was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Lynn loved life and loved deeply, especially when it came to family and friends. She had many wonderful adventures traveling with her sisters.
Surviving are one son, Matt (Sherry) Hall, Logansport, step-sons, Shane Vitello (Fran Antrim), Logansport, and Eric Vitello; brothers, Wayne Rombold, Maryville, TN, Mike Rombold, Las Vegas, NV, and Ken Rombold, Quincey, MA, sisters, Patty Robbins, San Jose, CA and Sally (Rick) Hall, Rensselaer, six grandchildren, Raven Hall (Madison Buis), Alleigh (Kegan) Byrd, Stormie Antrim, Chris Sherwood, Tony Sherwood. and Cole Vitello; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, James Antrim; three brothers, Lyle, Brian, and Scott Rombold; and one sister, Carolyn Combs.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 11, at Angie’s Catering & Cakes, 1007 – 17th Street, Logansport.
