PERRIGEN, Patricia Apr 8, 1951 – Oct 16, 2021

Patricia A.”Pat” Perrigen, 70, of Kokomo, was born on April 8, 1951, in Parma, Missouri, to James Clark and Claudia Cannon-Nix.
She received her elementary education in the Malden, Missouri, public school system and graduated from Kokomo High School in 1969. She enjoyed playing cards and listening to music with her friends, as well as cooking for her family. She was always the life of the party with her funny jokes and kept everyone’s spirits alive. Pat was the type who’d give her last to someone who needed it and not expect anything in return. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
At 2:48 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, “Pat,” as she was affectionately known, transitioned at Community Howard Regional Health, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She is survived by two daughters, Earlanda Perrigen, of Kokomo, Indiana, and Simona (Robert) Swain, of Kokomo, Indiana; one son, Earl Perrigen Jr., Kokomo; three sisters, Delores Fobbs-Aikens (Tony), of Kennett, Missouri, Barbara Matthews, of Kokomo, and Versie Nix, of Malden, Missouri; four brothers, Harvey Nix Jr. (Lindale), Robert Nix (Kim), Billy Nix (Dana), Steve Nix, of Kokomo; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with special friends, Mae, Frankie, Dora, Nancy, Kay, Faye, Tricia, Joyce and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Harvey Lee Nix Sr.
Celebration of life will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 30, at Wayman Chapel AME Church, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Bishop Charles E. Glenn will serve as officiant and eulogist. Final interment will be at Crown Point Cemetery.
