HALLAM, Shirley Dec 28, 1941 – Oct 23, 2021

Shirley Ann Hallam, 79, Logansport, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, in the Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, following surgery for an aortic aneurysm.
Born Dec. 28, 1941, in Winamac, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Leutta (Reinholt) Hewitt.
On July 22, 1961, in the Wheatland Avenue United Methodist Church, she married Jack L. Hallam, who survives.
A homemaker, Shirley’s entire world revolved around her family. She was a loving wife and mother, who wore her “Nana” title like a queen. Her grandchildren kept her young at heart and she loved them dearly.
Surviving with her husband of 60 years, Jack Hallam, are their children, Pamela K. Berry, Jackie R. (Alan) Lester, Jeanie (John) Goad and Steve (Gina) Hallam, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Bryce Hallam (Tasha), Mayle Goad, Lydia Goad, John Goad Jr. and Jayme Goad; one brother, Dallas Hewitt, Logansport; one sister, Ethel Campbell, Logansport; one sister-in-law, Becky Hewitt, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Doug Berry; and three brothers, Harold Reinholt, Gerald Hewitt and Jack Hewitt.
A private family service was in the chapel at Ever Rest Memorial Park Mausoleum, followed by entombment in Building of Peace Mausoleum.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel.
