GRALTON, Charmaine Mar 24, 1941 – Jun 3, 2020

Charmaine (Bender) Gralton died at home on June 3, 2020 in North Fort Myers, Florida, where she had lived for the past 38 years.
She was born in Logansport on March 24, 1941 to Bernard W. and Betty (Flory) Bender. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years Paul Gralton; cousin-in-law Danny Davis of Logansport; and cousin Terry Smith.
She leaves behind her brother, Mark W. (Marsha); nephews Kyle W. (Giselle) of Lafayette and Mark A. (Stephanie); great-nieces Alexys and Chloe Bender and Elaine Frank; great-nephew Zaydon Bender of Logansport; cousins Tom (June) Smith of Lafayette, Mary Lou (Bender) Davis of Logansport, Larry (Mary Lou) Bender of Ft. Wayne, Fred (Carol) Wandrei of Florida and Charles (Jeanne) Wandrei of Royal Center. She is also survived by her close Logansport High School friend Linda Smith of Colorado and her Florida family, Stephanie “Kay” Lenart, Herb Olsen and Angie and Stan Helinski.
Charmaine worked for General Motors in Chicago. She taught dance at YMCAs and on Florida cruise ships, focusing on Tahitian and Hawaiian styles. She enjoyed developing choreography of herself and others.
Services will be held at a later date. Her and her husband’s ashes will rest in Pisgah Church Cemetery in Cass County.
