Funeral services for Wayne “Bo” Collins, 77, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Magnolia Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Jimmy Ausburn and Tim Shirey will officiate. A private family interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Collins passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.
Active pallbearers will be Bo’s nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo’s Coffee Club Friends at Hud’s.
Bo was born on January 25, 1943, in Whigham, GA, to the late Malvin, Sr. and Gertrude Jones Collins. On February 28, 1969, he married Helen Mason Collins, who preceded him in death on January 22, 2012. They were married for over 50 years. He was owner and operator of Lo-Bo Metal Works. Bo was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Whigham.
Survivors include: sisters, Frankie Collins Quamme of Peachtree, GA, Nancy Collins Clark of Cairo, GA, Virginia Collins Ponder of Cairo, GA, Suzy Collins Davis (Clifford) of Whigham, GA; brothers, Kenneth Collins (Karen) of Port St. Joe, FL, Carlton Collins of Whigham, GA; sisters-in-law, Maggie Butler Collins of Cairo, GA, Linda Daniels Collins of Whigham, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews including a niece that was raised by Helen and Wayne as their own daughter, Renee F. Banks of Pelham, GA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; brothers, William Manuel Collins, Sr., Malvin Collins, Jr.; and Bo’s special dog, Skip.

The family will receive friends at Magnolia Baptist Church on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
