Virginia Marie Ketola “Ginny” Harvey, 94, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 20, 2021. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Mrs. Harvey was born on November 14, 1927, in Newberry, MI, to the late Emil Ketola and Pauline Swisher Ketola. She was married to Edwin Donald Harvey, Sr., who preceded her in death. She retired as a pharmacy technical assistant.
Survivors include: her daughters, Dyann M. Malindzak of Waters, MI, Maryellen Malindzak of Waters, MI; step-daughters, Renee Cleary of Cairo, GA, Michele Wilson of Hubert, NC; step-son, Edwin Harvey of Michigan; grandchildren, Kelly Decarte, Buddy Decarte, both of Waters, MI, Alan Cleary of Washington, Josh Cleary, Donald Cleary, both of Atlanta, GA, Robert Cleary of New Orleans, LA, Timothy Cleary of Washington; 7 great-grandchildren; 11 brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husbands, Francis Bud Malindzak, Edwin Donald Harvey, Sr.; daughter, Francine Malindzak; sister, Joyce Ketola; and a brother, Hank Ketola.
