Elizabeth King “Liz” Waldrop March 24, 1955 – March 23, 2020

Elizabeth King “Liz” Waldrop, 64, of Whigham, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Monday, March 23, 2020. Private memorial services are planned. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA.

Mrs. Waldrop was born on March 24, 1955, in Booneville, MS, to the late Richard King and Hattie Pearl Cooksey King. On July 17, 1995, she married Larry Ray Waldrop, who preceded her in death on September 9, 2009. She was a homemaker. Liz loved to work in her flower beds and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include: children, Roger Dean, Jr. (Terri) of Moultrie, GA, Gwen Dozier (Chad) of Meigs, GA, Crystal Dean (David) of Moultrie, GA, Rodney Dean (Hannah) of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Jessica Dean, Chris Little, Asia Spells, Jaycob Curlee, Josie Curlee, Wesley Dozier, Kayla Carter, Ian Dozier, Jamie Hines, Hunter Hines, Elijah Jett; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Rogers, Alexander Carralero, Nadia Trejo, Hudson Carter, Greyson Carter; brother, James King; sisters, Janie Curr, Tyne Brannon; special friend, Lebo Dozier; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Roger Dale Dean, Sr.; her second husband; brother, David King; and sister, Jewel King.
