Cynthia Diane “Cindy” Green, 57, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 21, 2021. The family will host a graveside memorial in her honor. She will be interred in Greenwood Cemetery.
Cindy was born on September 8, 1964, in Cairo, GA, to the late Raymond Carl Folsom and Virginia Gail Johnson Folsom. Cindy can be fondly remembered from her days as a clerk with Jack Rabbit Foods in Cairo. Her friendly smile and favorite saying to all her friends, “I still love you” are cherished memories. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Cairo.
On April 12, 1985, she married Robert L. “Bobby” Green, who survives. They were married for 36 years. Other survivors include uncles, Neal Johnson (Linda) of Cairo, GA, Wymond Folsom (Jean) of Cairo, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; and of course, her animal companions; her dog, Snowball and many cats.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her brother, Danny Folsom; and her grandparents, Lewis and Maitland Johnson.
