Lois V. Davidson, 87, passed away April 11, 2016. She passed unexpectedly but peacefully.
Lois was born Feb. 13 1929, the only child of Rudy and Lucy Viotle in Paterson, N.J.
She married the love of her life, Ben, Nov. 4, 1950. They had four children who they raised in suburban Oakland, N.J. Lois was a loving Mom and devoted wife. When Ben retired in 1992, they moved to Cape Cod, Mass., where they lived for seven years before permanently locating to Fountain Hills.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ben. She is survived by three sons; Scott Davidson of Fountain Hills, Marc Davidson of Vernon N.J., Doug Davidson of Land’o Lakes, Fla.; one daughter, Nancy Wodynski of Fountain Hills; and son-in-law Greg Wodynski; local grandchildren, Jordan Wodynski and Connor Wodynski (Nancy and Greg’s children); two adult grandchildren; Jesse Davidson, Vernon, N.J., Jacob Davidson, Hoboken, N.J., and Nicole Davidson his wife; and her two great grandchildren; Emma Davidson and Sophia Davidson, Hoboken, N.J. (Jacob and Nicole’s daughters).
A celebration of life and remembrance service will be held Thursday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at The Fountains, United Methodist Church in Fountain Hills. A reception will directly follow.
