Jeanna Ann (Meyer) Hansel, of Blair, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 50. She was born on August 6, 1967, in Pawnee City to Bonnie Jean (Gordon) Meyer and Johnie Arnold Meyer.

Donald “Don” Gene Cheney, 65, of Centralia, passed away Sept. 8, 2017, surrounded by his family. Don was born July 14, 1952, to Charles and Thelma Cheney.
As an avid outdoorsman, Don loved hunting, fishing, tinkering in his shop, working on cars and sharing stories. He retired from TransAlta as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his children, Charlie, Kyle and Allie Cheney;
VANCOUVER — George E. Vernon Jr. passed away on Sept. 5, 2017 at Columbia Sunset Care Home in Vancouver, Washington. He was born May 27, 1928, in Toutle, Washington to Lena and George E. Vernon Sr.
He worked his entire life in the logging industry as a timber faller, spreading his talent all over Washington, Oregon, California and Alaska before he retired at age 62.
George was an avid hunter,
ILLINOIS — Kelly Joseph Sadler, son of Ann and Jerry Sadler of Ocean Park, Wash., and brother of Jennifer Ward of Walnut Creek, Calif., died suddenly on Aug. 24, 2017, of a heart attack at his home in Schiller Park, Illinois.

Frank Boyd Cook, 61, entered into his eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank left us Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, with family by his side.
He was born Oct. 31, 1955, to Lawrence Boyd and Shirley Ann Cook in Lewiston, along with his two older siblings, and 10 years later came his youngest sibling.
Frank attended school in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston Senior High School in 1974.
