Michael Lawrence Barker of Eustace, Texas, Dec. 21, 1942 to Jan. 9, 2016, wsa born in Marshall, Texas. He passed away in Tyler, Texas at Trinity Mother Frances.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Frankie Louise Barker; father, Chester H. Barker; mother, Christine Burner; brother, Chester “Butch” Barker, Jr.; sister, Peggy Dale Toncray; sister Regina Sexton.
He is survived by: his only child, daughter, Susan Renee Lock; son-in-law Timothy Wayne Lock; grandson, Zachary Wayne Lock; grandson, Morgan Grant Lock; and many, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
He lived in Eustace, Texas for over 40 years with his wife, Frankie. They were married Oct. 27, 1962, and were married for over 35 years until her death in 2007.
He served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the Dallas area for over 40 years as well. He worked with The Jerrell Co. as a service technician, then with Alltex Parker Mechanical for 25-plus years as a tech, and then service manager.
Michael was 73 years old. His visitation will be Monday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. at the North Dallas Funeral Home in Farmers Branch, Texas, followed by gravside at the D.F.W. National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
