Services for Allen Wayne Clem, 75, of Whitehouse, Texas will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Pollard United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Luna officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse, Texas under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Clem passed away on January 15, 2016 in Tyler Texas. He was born on October 18, 1940, to the late Roy and Minnie Lee Clem. Never a dull moment with Wayne, he was charismatic, compassionate and a giver of his time, friendship and love. He and Becky traveled, seeing the country in their RV. Always the outdoorsman, you could find him working on a project, gardening, hunting, fishing or golfing. He was a volunteer with Hospice of East Texas, UMCOR, Methodist Missions, Texas Ramps Project, Pollard Theatre, and Methodist Youth Foundation. A former member of Kiwanis International and Shriners International, he was the past President of both the Texas and Louisiana Allied Poultry Federations. Wayne was a member of Pollard UMC, a graduate of Troup High School, Sam Houston University and retired as a National Sales Account Manager from Pfizer pharmaceutical’s poultry division.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Minnie Lee Clem, and in-laws, Fred and Mauline Moore. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca Moore Clem; his daughters, Katherine and Karen Clem; brothers and sister-in-laws, Bill and Rhydonia Clem, Garry and Phyllis Clem, Sherman and Brenda Clem, as well as in-laws, John and Ellen Musselman and Drs. Dan and Fredda Perkins; and a number of beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Chris, Marcus and Adam Clem, Robert and Michael Romines, and Johnny Musselman.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
