Sharon A. Wingard, 63, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in 1952 in Johnstown to Nicholas and Rose Keselyak Velemirovich.

Sharon was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana. She was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and the Johnstown Vocational Technical Nursing School. She was employed for 10 years as a licensed practical nurse at Lee Hospital, Johnstown.

After having children, Sharon remained at home to raise them. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends on Facebook and online shopping. She also enjoyed her many dogs over the years.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 44 years, Russell M. Wingard, of Indiana; one daughter and one son, Lindsey Papakirk and husband Stylianos, of Cranberry Township, and Brent Wingard and wife Misty, of Ernest; three grandchildren, Nikolaos, Kyros and Leonidas Papakirk, of Cranberry Township; one brother and two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Pastor Kathy Mihoerck will officiate. Interment will be private.
