Michel Turcotte, 84, passed away on Sept. 14 with his beautiful wife by his side.
Michel was born in Jonquiere, Quebec, but lived his adult life in the Poconos.
He was an avid skier, tennis player and cyclist. At his peak in skiing he even had the honor of racing with world renowned ski racers. He was truly an amazing athlete.
For many years Michel worked as a ski and tennis professional. Later in life he owned and operated his own appliance repair business. He was technically gifted and able to repair or restore everything he touched.
Married to Claudette for 58 years, they enjoyed sports, traveling, and being surrounded by family and socializing with so many wonderful friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Claudette; daughters: Francine Turcotte; Susie Turcotte and fiancé, Mark Dillon; Carole Turcotte and husband, Ric Hanna. Also, amazing grandchildren, Henry, Wesley, Zachary, Anya, Noah and Jamie.
Our family will have a celebration of life at a later date, to celebrate a life well lived.
