Kathryn G. (Hilty) Quinn, 91, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Indiana, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at Princeton Village, Largo, Fla.

She was born April 28, 1924, in Indiana, a daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca (Stiffler) Hilty and was the second oldest of seven children.

Kay, as she was known by friends and family, was married to the late Joseph M. Quinn, owner of the Indiana Newsstand on Philadelphia Street, who passed away on July 4, 1967.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Barbara), of Indiana, and James (Julie), of Charlotte, N.C.; and a daughter, Kathy Jo, of Altoona. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister Annabelle (Hilty) Marcoldi.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers and three sisters.

Those who knew Kay will remember her as a thoughtful, caring person who made certain that their needs were put ahead of her own.

A private ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Indiana, with Father Tom Federline officiating. Kay will be interred next to her husband.
