Jacoby, Carl Lee

Carl Lee Jacoby, 87, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. He was born on October 5, 1928, in Harrisburg, PA, son of the late Charles and Anna (Baum) Jacoby.
He was a graduate of John Harris High School and Shippensburg University. He served in the U.S. Army in South Korea during the Korean War. He retired as a chemist from McCreath & Son, Inc., Harrisburg.
He was a member of American Legion Post 594 and VFW Post 1462 and was a former member of the Mechanicsburg Club. He loved traveling, yardsaling, and collecting antiques.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Doris Mae (Shuler) Jacoby; 2 daughters, Barbara Yoter of Dillsburg and Robin Mizak of Mechanicsburg; 4 grandchildren: John Carpenter, Melissa Wandell, Cole Mizak, and Grant Mizak; a great-grandson, Zane Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016, at Stone & Murray Funeral Home, New Cumberland, PA. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. Following the interment, there will be a reception at Nick’s Café, 114 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA.
