Everhard DDS, Robert C.

Robert C. Everhard, DDS, age 90, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at home. Born December 2, 1925 in Harrisburg to the late Will D. and Helen (Lowry) Everhard.
Bob was a graduate of John Harris High School, served two years in the Navy during WWII. He attended Bucknell University and Lebanon Valley College. Bob graduated dental school from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a member of Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. He operated dental practices in the Harrisburg and Camp Hill areas. Bob was a member of the West Shore Country Club, Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, Harrisburg Dental Society and the stock club. Bob was a generous supporter of Penn State University, Alzheimer charities and eye foundations. He enjoyed playing bridge, golfing and traveling to Stone Harbor with his late wife Peggy. Bob’s family was very important to him. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy M. Everhard and brother Will D. Everhard, Jr. He is survived by his two daughters, Jan O’Connor of Palm City, FL and Terri Everhard of Wormleysburg; sister Virginia Wilson of Princeton, NJ; two grandchildren Michael O’Connor of Baltimore, MD and Amy Weldner of Stafford, VA.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2015 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. There will be a visitation held from 2:30 PM until the time of service. Burial will be private at East Harrisburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to , 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
