Dillion “Dill” Paul Chesney, 20, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Candor.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 9 at Center United Methodist Church, Troy. The Rev. Jim Hunsucker and the Rev. Ben Hall officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Dillion was born November 22, 1996 in Asheboro, the son of Gary and the late Tanna (Reeves) Chesney.

Lola Elizabeth “Lib” Navy Barrett, 88, of Arlington, Oregon, passed away September 1, 2017.

She was born to Daniel B. and Myrtle M. Stallings Navy on July 21, 1929 in Lincolnton. The family moved to Troy, living there for a few years before moving to Biscoe. It was in Biscoe that she met Raymond C. Barrett and the couple married on April 2, 1950.
