ROBERT ELMER MORGAN, SR. “BROTHER”

Robert Elmer Morgan, Sr., “Brother” was born January 15, 1940 in Suffern, NY to the late Vincent Morgan, Sr. and Margaret Peggy Jackson. He passed away on his most blessed birthday surrounded by his family. Robert was retired from Avon Products in Suffern, NY. He enjoyed Country music, golf, softball, high school and college wrestling, fishing and many other sports.

Robert is survived by his guardian angel, Linda Fredenburgh at home; his siblings: Pat Dean (Sonny) of Norristown, PA, Vincent Grant Jr. (Suzie) of Greenwood Lake, Charles (Andy) of Greenwood Lake, Tojo (Petra) of Brownsville, TX, Rita Van Dunk of Middletown, NY, Edward of Brooklyn, NY, Peggi Milligan of Washingtonville, NY, Dennis and (Robin) of Greenwood Lake, Sylvia (Georgios) Gerou of Mahwah, NJ; his children: Margaret of MD, Robert James (Paulette) of Atlanta, GA, Betty Jane of MD, Bobbi Lee (Bill) Bennett of NC, Anthony (Sandra) of VA, Kimberly (Mike) Tansey of Maybrook, NY, Robert, Jr., (Jackie) of Thompson Ridge, NY; his extended family: Kim (Fernando) Costa and Stacey Fredenburgh of Grahamsville, NY, Ronald (Carol) Fredenburgh of Napanoch, NY and Daniel Fredenburgh of NJ; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his faithful dog, Rusty. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty and brother-in-law, Richard Milligan.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Stewart and his staff, the Orange Regional Medical Center and the Orange and Sullivan Hospice for their assistance, understanding and compassion.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Scarr Funeral Home, Inc. Rte. 202, Suffern, NY. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
