Frederick E. Travaglione died peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was 63 years old. Son of the late Clarence and Lulu Tanner Travaglione, he was born January 2, 1953 in Cornwall, NY. Frederick was a retired Stone Mason with SUNY Purchase, Purchase, NY and worked for years at a place that he loved, Bear Mountain State Park.
Survivors include his daughter, Lynda Travaglione-Recchia and her husband, Brian of Monroe, NY; his companion, Joan Hillegas of New Windsor, NY; his granddaughter, Madison; sisters: Beverly Travaglione of Boca Raton, FL, Brenda Suffern and her husband, Rod of Central Valley, NY; brothers: Ronald Travaglione and his wife, Virginia of Ellenton, FL, Philip Travaglione of Fiesole, Italy; several nieces and nephews; and Leslie Delamater Travaglione of Tucson, AZ.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, January 8th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY. Cremation at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
