Dotty Barrish, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Delray Medical Center, in Delray Beach Florida. Daughter of Isaac and Mary Singer, Dotty was born in New York City on March 30, 1927.

Raised in the Bronx, she graduated from Columbus High School, and attended City College of New York. As a teenager, Dotty worked weekends at the Concord Hotel where she met her husband, Abe. Throughout the 1960’s and 70’s, Dotty thoroughly enjoyed working as a waitress at the Pines Hotel. Dotty was hard-working, fun-loving, and never knew a stranger. Abe and Dotty embraced retirement at Rainberry Bay in Delray Beach, Florida. Among her many activities, were tennis, mahjong and tap dancing.

Survivors include her husband, Abe; son, Alan (Jo Anne), daughter Linda Zwerner; grandchildren: Lily Barrish, Maggie (Matt) Spicehandler, Cody Zwerner and Jarrron Zwerner; great-grandchildren, Cameron Quinn and Isaac Spicehandler; sister Sonya (Eugene) Balzer. Burial was held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Eternal Light Memorial Garden in Boynton Beach Florida.
