Corrado Mancini of Marlboro, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Marlboro. He was 78. Corrado was born in Molfetta, Italy on September 15, 1937. He was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria Girolama Amato Mancini. Corrado married Anna Petruzzella Mancini who predeceased him on December 9, 2011.
Corrado was a retired Iron Worker and a Presser for West Point Military Academy. He was an avid card player and a member of the Circulo-Italiano Club of Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh.
Suvivors include his daughter, Gina and her husband, John Medulla of Marlboro; three sisters: Anna Giancaspro of NJ, Benedetta Costa of NJ and Carmella and her husband, Thomas Nelson of Marlboro; three grandchildren: Giulia, Gaetano and Corradina Medulla, all of Marlboro and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning at St. James-St. Mary’s Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro with Father Thomas Dicks officiating. Entombment will follow in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Middle Hope, NY.
