Connie V. “Coo” Carioti, 87, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Kilian Corp after 17 years. A devout catholic, Connie was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and was Vice President of San Egidio. She was predeceased by her husband, James Carioti, Jr. in 2002; sister, Francis Damico; and granddaughter, Sabrina DeGilormo.
Connie is survived by four daughters, Maria (Ron) Gallipeau, Carla (Bud) Johnson, Donna Mielnicki, and Gina (Tracy) Guhin, all of Liverpool; sons, Frank (Diane) Carioti of NJ and Joseph (Theresa) Carioti of Cicero; sisters, Palma Felber of Liverpool and Mary Ann Cusano of Florida; brother, Joseph Stagnitta of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be on Friday, January 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home,1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
