Bernice A. Bingaman, 90, of Verona, died January 4, 2016.
She was born March 9, 1925, in Coaldale, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Emma Hudock Sofsky. Bernice married Malcolm A. Bingaman on October 4, 1952, in Allentown, PA; he died August 28, 1999. She worked for many years at the medical office of Drs. John George Jr., and John George III. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Verona.
Bernice is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Bingaman; a son, Brian M. Bingaman; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Dolores Schirick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, with Rev. Edmund Castronovo, officiating. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery. Friends may calll at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Rome, on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
