Johanna Luberto Former Clinton Township wife, mother, grandmother, world traveler and beauty queen in her youth, 82 Johanna Luberto, 82, of Bridgewater Township, N.J., formerly of Hunterdon County, passed on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at the RWJ University Hospital Somerset. Johanna was born Dec. 2, 1934, in Ridgefield Park, N.J. She was the daughter of the late Peter and the late Irene (Ugolini) Feltri. Raised in Ridgefield Park, N.J., Johanna graduated from Ridgefield Park High School, where she was crowned Miss Ridgefield Park High School. She participated in multiple pageants and earned the title of Miss Bergen County and Miss Arnold Constable. After she married the love of her life, Vincent Luberto Jr., on June 5, 1954, she took on the most important role, that of a loving, kind-hearted mother who was a phenomenal cook. She, along with her husband, raised their family in Clinton Township section of Hunterdon County. Johanna was an avid world traveler and enjoyed spending many winters on the east coast of Florida in places like St. Augustine and Melbourne. Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Vincent Luberto Jr.; two daughters, Renee Margaritonda and husband Gary of Denville, N.J., and Deana Van Doren and husband Ben of Annandale, N.J.; two sons, Gregg Luberto and wife Cheryl of Clinton Twp, N.J., and Peter Luberto and wife Adrienne of Washington Twp., N.J.; Johanna is also survived by her adored 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, Aug. 5, at St. Joseph Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, N.J., with entombment at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Annandale. Visitation was held Aug. 4 at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, N.J. 08809.
